CERAMIC DISC CARTRIDGE:

New Water Control 'On/Off' Cartridge for some of our Older versions of Dual Function (2 'Way') 046 and 063 Concealed Thermostatic Shower Valves. Many of these would have had blue cartridges originally and the new ones are now green colour.

The Diameter of the Cartridge body is some 32mm and the length of the main section is 28.9mm. The overall length is some 73.8mm (excludes the lugs on the base), The entire brass spindle/shaft including splines is some 36.5mm long.

There are 3 holes in the base with rubber seals which need to be carefully secured in the mixer valve body chamber cavity. It has 2 securing 'lugs' on the base and the distance between the centres of these is 21mm.

The Minimum recommended water pressure required is 0.5 bars, although operating between 1 to 5 bars is recommended.

If your shower is leaking or won't shut off, then you may just need one of these Replacement Cartridges, instead of having to replace the whole shower panel/valve! 

PLEASE NOTE: Whilst this cartridge will fit most of the more recent batches of Showers/Valves that we have supplied, on occasions the manufacturer's have installed other slightly different cartridges. Please ensure you check your one before ordering and compare the measurements to be certain it will fit.
