These taps are wall-mounted, i.e. they fit against a vertical surface (wall or side of a bath). The main body and fittings are solidly made from Brass with a polished Chrome finish. It operates with Tap gland type mechanisms. The Cross handles are marked with 'H' and 'C'. The Spout also Swivels.

A Brass/Chrome Handheld Shower Head with a white ABS handle is supplied. This sits on a Cradle, and a 1.5m Flexible Hose (also supplied). The box includes wall-mounting connections with cranked/threaded 'S Tail' Connectors (3/4":1/2" BSP size) and Chrome Cover plates. It does not include a wall-mounted fixing plate kit.

The distance between inlet centres is a standard 150mm/15cms. The Tails allow a variation of approx +/- 2 cms to this to assist with fitting. From the wall to the tip of the spout it measures approx 16 cms (with the chrome cover plates fitted), and a drop of approx 12 cms from the centre of the tap handles. The overall height is some 28 cms. These Taps can also usually be used with the vertical surface of a free standing bath. Secure pipework may be necessary for fitting unless some kind of fixing plate or similar is used. The type of wall and pipework would determine if a fixing plate or similar is required.

The taps can be used to replace deck-mounted taps by using the existing 'legs' so long as the centres of the tops of the legs are 150mm apart and they are 3/4" BSP size (threads measuring 1" diameter).

The minimum water pressure required is 0.5 bar, so it is suitable for a gravity tank system with 5 metres minimum height drop necessary. For best performance we recommend operating between 1 to 5 bars. We also sell the Deck-mounted version of this tap which comes with a pair of Deck-mounting legs - see item order number 049N2.
