REPLACEMENT/REPAIR CERAMIC DISC WATER FLOW CARTRIDGE WITH CONTROL HANDLE FOR 057U/057UD THERMOSTATIC BATH/SHOWER MIXER TAPS:

Symptoms: Does your Bath Tap or Shower Valve drip? Are you is a hard water area like 60-65% of the UK? Solution: Simply change the Ceramic Disc Cartridge, not the whole tap or shower! 
 

Principally made from brass, this Ceramic Disc Cartridge is suitable for various Mixer taps and shower valves.  Includes: Control handle, end cap cover, screw and Ceramic Disc Cartridge. The Handle and end cap are made from ABS 'Plastichrome' and the chrome is a 'mirror' finish one. This is the left side part as you look at the front of the Taps/Shower.

To install it with a Bath Mixer Tap or Torpedo style Bar Shower valves, all you have to do is prise off the end cap, remove the grub screw, then undo the 'nut' shaped section of the cartridge. Always ensure your water is off when fitting!!

The Dimensions are:  Total Length of Cartridge = 48mm. It is a standard 1/2"BSP size thread (measures 3/4" diameter where it fits into the taps/valve body). This 'inside' section that goes into the Taps/Shower is approx 22mm long.
