REPLACEMENT/REPAIR LOW PRESSURE TAP GLAND CARTRIDGE:

Principally made from brass, this Ceramic Disc Cartridge is suitable for some of the 019/049D Victorian style Mixer Taps with 'X' handles that have previously been sold by us. This includes those mixers supplied with the Riser sets  011/019N/350 and 011/049N/350.

To access it you need to remove the handle by removing the 'H' or 'C' from the X handle, unscrew the chrome sleeve, then undo the cartridge with the nut shaped section. Always ensure your water is off when fitting!!

The Dimensions are:  Total Length of Cartridge when tightened (NB: Open) = 46mm. It is a standard 1/2"BSP size thread which measures 3/4" (approx 19.1mm) diameter where it fits into the Mixer body. The diameter of the section that hold a chrome sleeve is 23.6mm. There are 20 splines (teeth) and the diameter is 7.4mm.

Minimum operating pressure is 0.2 bars with more recommended ideally for a better flow.
