Traditional Victorian Style set of Bath Shower Mixer Taps with Tap Gland mechanisms.
The taps are Deck-mounted (i.e. they fit on the flat horizontal surface, usually around the edge a bath).
The body and fittings are solidly made from Brass with a polished 'mirror' Chrome finish.
The 'Cross' handles are marked with 'H' and 'C'.
It includes solidly made chrome Deck-mounting Pillars or 'legs' which have securing nuts, rubber washers and threaded tails so it can be secured through two holes to the bath. The distance between the centres of the bases of the legs (where they attach to the flat surface) is some 180mm, the UK standard size, although this can be varied slightly by adjusting the nuts on the back of the taps where the legs attach.
The distance from the centre of the legs to the centre of the spout is approx 15cms or 16cms to the tip. The drop from the centre of the handles to the tip of the spout is some 12cms.
The minimum water pressure required for the mixer is usually 0.5 bar, so it is suitable for a gravity tank system with 5 metres minimum height drop necessary, however on account of the shower set we would recommend a system with at least 1 bar of pressure.
The Contemporary 'Exposed' Shower Riser pipework is in three main sections with an adjustable fixing bracket that is fixed to the wall by screws/plugs. The riser is solidly made from Brass with a polished Chrome Finish. The height can be shortened by leaving out the short straight section or by sliding down the upper section into the longer straight section before securing it.
The distance from the centre of the base of the legs to the centre of the riser section is approx 6cms. The maximum distance from the wall to the centre of the riser can be 15cms. The maximum gap between the wall and the back of the deck-mounting legs is approx 6cms (approx 8cms to the centre of the base holes from the wall).
It comes with a matching Chrome 8"/20cms diameter Round 'Bell' Style Shower Head. The Shower Head is solidly made from Brass and has a swivel joint on top to enable you to angle it.
It comes with Chrome Handheld Shower Head with a white 'ridged' ABS plastic handle and a 1.5m Flexible Hose.
The Handheld Head has its own sliding adjustable 'plastichrome' holder attached to the Riser Rail.
There is a Diverter Valve that is either positioned just above the Mixer or in between the two straight sections (as in the gallery picture), and which allows you to switch water between the 2 shower functions.
The entire Bath/Shower set Measures approx 1.60 metres tall from the base of the deck-mounting legs to the top of the Overhead section, and the 'Arm' extends out some 32 cms from the centre of the Riser Rail to the centre of the main Shower Head. This can be shortened by leaving out the short riser section or sliding the upper section down inside the longer straight section before securing it.
