REPLACEMENT/REPAIR CERAMIC DISC WATER FLOW CERAMIC DISC CARTRIDGE:

Principally made from brass, this Ceramic Disc Cartridge is suitable for some of the 014, 018 & 019 Victorian style taps with X handles that habe previously been sold by us.

To access it you need to remove the handle by removing the 'H' or 'C' from the X handle, unscrew the chrome sleeve, then undo the cartridge with the nut shaped section. Always ensure your water is off when fitting!!

The Dimensions are:  Total Length of Cartridge = 49.1mm with a new seal included. It is a standard 1/2"BSP size thread (measures 3/4" diameter where it fits into the taps body). This 'inside' section that goes into the Taps is approx 21mm long. The diameter of the main housing that fits inside the taps is some 16.7mm. There are 20 splines (teeth) and the diameter is 7.4mm.

Minimum operating pressure is 0.5 bars with 1-5 bars actually recommended ideally.
