REPLACEMENT/REPAIR CERAMIC DISC WATER FLOW CERAMIC DISC CARTRIDGE:

Symptoms: Does your Shower Valve drip? Are you is a hard water area like 60-65% of the UK? Solution: Simply change the Ceramic Disc Cartridge, not the whole shower! 
 

• Principally made from brass, this Ceramic Disc Cartridge is suitable for some versions of the 034 and 045 Mixer Shower Valves sold by us.  
• This cartridge fits in the upper valve body chamber where the on/off/water flow control operates.
• You should always ensure your water is off when fitting!!
• The Dimensions are:   
• Total Length of Cartridge = 81.8mm including the rubber seal. It is a standard 1/2"BSP size thread (measures 22.4mm or 3/4" diameter where it fits into the taps/valve body). This 'inside' section that goes into the Taps/Shower is approx 17.6mm diameter. The brass shaft from the split pin to the end is some 51mm long. Other dimensions are shown in the gallery pictures.
