CERAMIC DISC CARTRIDGE:

New Water Control 'On/Off' Cartridge for some of the versions of our Dual Function (2 'Way') 046 and Triple function (3 'Way') Concealed Thermostatic Shower Valves. NB: It is suitable for a 3 way only if you have a separate on/off control.

The Diameter of the Cartridge body is some 32.7mm and the length of the main section is 29.6mm. The overall length is some 83mm (excludes the lugs on the base), The brass spindle/shaft including splines is 45.5mm.

There are 3 holes in the base with rubber seals which need to be carefully secured in the mixer valve body chamber cavity. It has 2 securing 'lugs' on the base and the distance between the centres of these is 20.5mm.

The Minimum recommended water pressure required is 0.5 bars, although operating between 1 to 5 bars is recommended.

If your shower is leaking or won't shut off, then you may just need one of these Replacement Cartridges, instead of having to replace the whole shower mixer valve! 

PLEASE NOTE: Whilst this cartridge will fit most of the more recent batches of Showers/Valves that we have supplied, on occasions the manufacturer's have installed other slightly different cartridges. Please ensure you check your one before ordering and compare the measurements to be certain it will fit.
