CERAMIC DISC CARTRIDGE:

Water Flow Control Cartridge for the 158 Thermostatic Shower Valve.

The Diameter of the Cartridge body is some 32.5mm. The overall length is some 107mm without the lugs. The brass shaft/spindle including splines is 70mm.

There are 3 holes on the base with a shaped rubber seal which needs to be carefully secured in the tap body cavity. It has 2 securing 'lugs' on the base and the distance between the centres of these is 20mm.

The Minimum recommended water pressure required is 0.5 bars, although operating between 1 to 5 bars is recommended.

If your shower is leaking or won't shut off, then you may just need one of these Replacement Cartridges, instead of having to replace the whole shower valve!
